Terms, Warranty & Payment

No contracts. No fine print traps. Just how we operate.

Estimates

All estimates are free. You can text us photos and your address and get a firm price — usually within 10 minutes. Or we come to you in person. Either way you get the same thing: a detailed scope of work, three paint package options, and a firm price. The price we quote is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons, no “we found more work” price jumps once we start.

What’s Included

Every quote includes:

✓ All materials — primer, topcoat, caulk, wood filler, tape, drop cloths

✓ All labor — prep, painting, cleanup, final walkthrough

✓ Standard prep — nail holes, caulking, crack repair, sanding

✓ Two coats of paint on every surface

✓ Furniture moved and returned (interior jobs)

✓ Pressure washing (exterior jobs)

✓ Color visualization — see your home in any color before we paint

✓ Touch-up paint labeled by room when we’re done

Major drywall damage, wood rot replacement (exterior), and textured ceiling removal are quoted separately if needed — we’ll tell you upfront, never after we start.

Payment Terms

BEFORE START

$0 due. No deposit to schedule.

DAY WE START

30% due when we physically arrive at your home.

AFTER WALKTHROUGH

Remaining 70% due only after you’re 100% satisfied.

We accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay. If something needs a touch-up at walkthrough, we handle it on the spot — not “we’ll come back.”

Paint Packages

You choose from three Sherwin-Williams paint packages. All three are professional-grade products — the difference is in longevity and warranty coverage:

Not locked into Sherwin-Williams colors — we can match any color from any brand.

2-Year Warranty

Every job comes with a 2-year warranty on materials and labor.

If paint peels, bubbles, cracks, or fails in any way within 2 years of completion due to our workmanship or the products we used, we come back and fix it at no charge. No arguments. No inspections. No hoops to jump through.

What’s covered:

✓Peeling, cracking, or bubbling of topcoat

✓Adhesion failure on properly prepped surfaces

✓Color inconsistency or uneven coverage

✓Primer bleed-through or stain penetration

✓Caulk or filler failure at joints we sealed

Normal wear, physical damage (furniture scuffs, pet scratches, impact marks), and acts of God (storm damage, flooding) are not covered. The Sherwin-Williams product warranty is separate and may extend beyond our 2-year labor warranty depending on the package chosen.

Scheduling & Weather

We schedule a start date, not a “window.” We text you 30 minutes before we arrive every day. We start between 9:00 and 9:30 AM.

For exterior work: we watch the weather and stop before a storm can damage anything. If it rains, we don’t start another job — we come back the next day we’re able. Your project is never left half-done while we go work on someone else’s house.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time before we start with zero penalty — no deposit means nothing to forfeit. If you need to reschedule after we’ve started, we’ll work with you on timing. We don’t hold projects hostage.

This website is owned by Paint Doctors LLC. The content, design, photos, and AI chat features are our property. You’re welcome to browse, get estimates, and use Paint Guru for color advice. Don’t scrape our content, copy our photos, or try to reverse-engineer our tools. That said — we’re painters, not lawyers. If something on the site isn’t working right, just call us.
