See Your Cabinets In Any Color

We photograph your actual cabinets and show you exactly what they'll look like in any color you choose. Not a tiny swatch on the wall. Your real kitchen, your real lighting, down to the shadows — perfectly accurate.

How It Works

Three steps. Takes minutes. Costs nothing.

Send us photos. Text or email a few pictures of your kitchen — cabinets, walls, the full space. That's all we need to get started.

We build your preview. Your actual cabinets shown in any color. Want to compare three whites side by side? Done. Curious about navy with your granite? We'll show you.

You pick your favorite. Try as many combinations as you want until it feels right. No rush, no pressure. When you see the one — you'll know.

Why This Matters

Picking the wrong color is the most expensive mistake in painting.

Swatches lie. A 2-inch square on the wall looks nothing like 30 cabinet doors in your kitchen. Colors shift with lighting, countertops, flooring — everything around it changes how it reads.

Once paint goes on, it's on. A color change after we start means stripping and repainting. That's double the cost. Our preview eliminates that risk completely.

It's free with every quote. No extra charge, no commitment. We want you confident in the color before we pick up a brush.

How Pricing & Payment Works

No deposits. No hidden fees. No surprise charges on the final bill. Here's exactly how the money works — because you shouldn't have to wonder.

The Payment Structure

Built around your comfort, not ours.

Nothing due until we show up. We don't collect a dime until the first day we're at your home. No deposits, no holds, no commitments until work begins.

30% on start day. That covers materials and mobilization. We don't ask for it before — only when we're standing in your kitchen ready to go.

Balance after you're 100% satisfied. We walk through every cabinet together. If something needs a touch-up, we handle it right there. You pay when you're happy. Period.

What's In The Price

Everything listed here is standard — no add-on fees.

Full prep work. TSP degrease, hand sand, dust blowoff on every surface. Kitchen grease is the #1 reason paint fails — we eliminate it.

Premium materials only. Extreme Bonding Primer plus two coats Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane. Designed for cabinets. Resists grease, chemicals, daily wear.

Off-site door spraying. Doors removed, transported to our shop, sprayed in a dust-free environment, cured 24+ hours, and reinstalled.

Hardware handling. Every knob removed, screws in labeled ziplocks, hinges cataloged. Your countertops taped and wrapped in brown paper. Zero damage.

Color visualization included. See your cabinets in any color before work begins. Free with every quote.

2-year warranty. On everything. Materials and labor.

Who's Actually Painting Your Cabinets

Not a franchise. Not a crew of strangers. A husband-and-wife team that treats your home the way we'd want ours treated — because we know how it feels to let someone into your space.

Alex & Megan

15 years of painting. 13 years of marriage. Every job, start to finish.

You talk to us. We do the work. There's no sales team, no office manager, no middleman. When you call, you're talking to the people who will be in your kitchen. That's how trust gets built.

Alex handles the craft. Started painting at 16. Knows every surface, every product, every shortcut that ruins a finish and every step that makes one last. If there's a question about your project, he has the answer on the spot.

Megan handles the details. Scheduling, communication, color guidance, making sure nothing falls through the cracks. She's the reason our customers say the experience felt easy.

How We Work

This isn't what you're used to from painters.

One call. Real answers. We don't need a week to get you a number. You describe the project, we give you honest guidance and a firm price range — usually on the first conversation.

We come to you. In-person estimates are always available. Texting photos for a quick price is an option — not a replacement for showing up.

We leave your home cleaner than we found it. That's not a slogan. Our customers say it in their reviews because it's true. Every time.

The work speaks for itself. 4.7 stars on Google. Every review is from a real person on a real project. We don't ask for 5 stars — we earn them.

OUR PROCESS

5 Days. Kitchen Open. Factory Finish.

Every step exists for a reason. Here's exactly what happens, when it happens, and why we do it this way.

DAY 1 — Your Home

Remove & Catalog

Every door and drawer numbered, tagged, and photographed in position before anything moves.

We start early. Every cabinet door gets a numbered tag and a photo — that's our reinstall map so every door goes back exactly where it came from. Hardware comes off at your home, knobs stored on-site, screws go in labeled ziplocks so nothing gets lost. Hinges get cataloged. Countertops get taped and wrapped in brown paper before we touch a thing. Then the doors leave with us — that's 80% of the mess, gone. Your kitchen is open by lunch.

Your kitchen is open by lunch.
WHAT HAPPENS
01Number and tag every door
02Photograph each door in position
03Remove all hardware on-site
04Screws in labeled ziplocks
05Tape and wrap countertops
06Transport doors to shop
TIME ON-SITE 3–4 hours
DAY 2 — Our Shop

Degrease · Sand · Prime

Kitchen grease is the #1 reason cabinet paint fails. We eliminate it before primer ever touches wood.

Every door gets a TSP wash to cut through years of kitchen grease — this is the step most painters skip and it's exactly why paint fails within a year. After degreasing we hand sand every surface for grip, blow off all dust, and spray Extreme Bonding Primer. This primer locks onto stained and oil-based surfaces and stops yellowing bleed-through permanently. If your cabinets were originally stained or finished with oil-based product, putting latex straight over them is a guaranteed failure. The primer is what makes everything after it work.

The primer is what makes everything after it work.
WHAT HAPPENS
01TSP degrease every surface
02Hand sand for adhesion
03Blow off all dust
04Spray Extreme Bonding Primer
05Inspect under shop lighting
0624-hour cure before topcoat
TIME ON-SITE Full day
DAY 3 — Shop + Your Home

Spray Topcoat + Paint Bodies

Doors get sprayed at the shop. Bodies get painted at your home. Two locations, same day, kitchen stays open.

This is the day everything comes together. At the shop, doors get two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane — sprayed in a controlled, dust-free environment. No wind, no bugs, no dust landing in wet paint. That's why we don't spray doors at your house. Meanwhile, we're at your home painting the cabinet bodies in place. We use a mohair nap roller that lays down a finish so smooth it looks sprayed. Your kitchen is fully open while we work — you can cook, grab things from cabinets, go about your day.

Your kitchen is fully open while we work.
WHAT HAPPENS
01Spray two coats Emerald Urethane
02Dust-free shop environment
03Paint bodies on-site with mohair roller
04Tape off counters and backsplash
05Kitchen stays fully open
06Clean up before we leave
TIME ON-SITE Full day
DAY 4 — Our Shop

Cure & Inspect

Rushing cure time is how doors stick together and finishes get ruined. We don't rush.

Emerald Urethane dries to the touch in about 30 minutes, but full cure takes longer. We give every door a minimum 24 hours between coats. No stacking, no rushing, no tacky surfaces pressed together. Each door gets inspected under shop lighting — if there's a speck, a thin spot, anything less than perfect, it gets touched up right there. This is the day you don't see us. Your kitchen is completely yours. We're at the shop making sure every door is right.

Your kitchen is completely yours.
WHAT HAPPENS
01Minimum 24-hour cure time
02Inspect every door under lighting
03Touch up any imperfections
04No stacking or rushing
05Prep hardware for reinstall
06Schedule Day 5 walkthrough
TIME ON-SITE 24+ hours
DAY 5 — Your Home

Reinstall & Walkthrough

Every door back in place, every piece of hardware reinstalled, every cabinet inspected — together.

Doors come home. Every one goes back exactly where it was — that's what the numbered tags and photos from Day 1 are for. Hardware gets reinstalled, hinges adjusted, everything aligned. Then we walk through your entire kitchen together, cabinet by cabinet. If anything needs a touch-up, we handle it on the spot. You don't pay the remaining balance until you look at every door and say you're happy. That's the deal. We clean up, pack out, and your kitchen is done.

You don't pay until you say you're happy.
WHAT HAPPENS

CABINETS

Should I paint my cabinets or just replace them?

If you like the style of your cabinets and it's just the color that's bothering you, there's no need to replace them. Painting transforms the entire look of your kitchen for a fraction of the cost. Replacing runs $10,000–$15,000+, takes 2–3 weeks, and involves demolition. Refinishing runs $3,500–$6,500, takes 5 days, and your kitchen stays open the whole time.

TIPPainting saves 70–85% while completely transforming your kitchen.
CABINETS

My neighbor's cabinets are already chipping. How do I know that won't happen?

That happens when someone uses wall paint on cabinets or puts latex over oil-based surfaces without bonding primer. We use Sherwin-Williams Extreme Bonding Primer on every job — it grips stained and oil-based wood and stops yellowing bleed-through. Then two coats of Emerald Urethane, which is designed specifically for cabinets. You can wipe grease, use cleaning chemicals, and it doesn't fade or chip.

TIPWe provide data sheets for every product. Ask for our Sherwin-Williams rep's number.
CABINETS

How long does the whole process take? Do I lose my kitchen?

Five days start to finish. We're only at your home two of those days. Day 1 we remove the doors and take them to our shop. Days 2–4 we're spraying and curing at our shop while your kitchen is fully open. Day 5 we reinstall everything and do a final walkthrough.

TIPYour kitchen stays usable 80% of the time.
CABINETS

What about the cabinets near the stove? Will the paint hold up to grease?

That's one of the main reasons we use Emerald Urethane instead of regular paint. It's formulated for high-traffic, high-abuse surfaces. Grease splatter, steam, daily wiping — it handles all of it. We also TSP degrease every surface before priming so the coating bonds to clean wood, not a layer of kitchen grease.

TIPEmerald Urethane is designed to handle daily kitchen abuse without fading.
CABINETS

Can you paint the inside of the cabinets too?

Any cabinet with glass doors or an open front, we paint the inside automatically. For closed cabinets, we cut the paint line right at the hinge seam so it looks clean when you open the door. If you want the inside of closed cabinets painted too, we can absolutely do that — it just adds material and labor time.

TIPMost people leave items inside the closed ones — we work around them.
CABINETS

What about the hinges? They look dated.

We can paint metal hardware with a high-grade spray, but we don't recommend it on hinges you open and shut every day. What we do recommend is updating to modern hardware — black or brushed nickel pulls make a huge difference with freshly painted cabinets. It completes the look and changes the whole feel of the kitchen.

TIPNew hardware is the finishing touch that makes a cabinet job look like a full remodel.
CABINETS

How do you protect my countertops and floors?

Countertops get taped and wrapped in brown paper before we touch anything. Floors get drop cloths. We treat every surface in your kitchen like it's granite even if it isn't. In five years of doing this, we've never damaged a countertop, floor, or appliance.

TIPYour kitchen looks the same when we leave — except the cabinets look brand new.
CABINETS

How do I pick the right color? What if I choose wrong?

That's exactly why we offer free color visualization with every quote. Send us photos of your kitchen and we'll show you your actual cabinets in any color you want — multiple options side by side. The light, shadows, surrounding colors all stay accurate. You see exactly what it'll look like before we ever pick up a brush.

TIPFree with every quote. No commitment, no pressure — just clarity.
CABINETS

I got a cheaper quote from another painter. Why should I pay more?

At $2,000–$2,500 for a full kitchen, there's no way to cover the cost of proper materials, door removal, off-site spraying, bonding primer, and two coats of cabinet-grade paint. Something is getting cut. Usually it's the primer — which means latex going directly over your existing finish. That's how you end up with chipping and yellowing within a year.

TIPWe charge what it actually costs to do it right — with a 2-year warranty.
CABINETS

We have pets. Is the paint safe? How long before everything is cured?

We have three cats ourselves so we understand the concern. The paint dries to the touch in about 30 minutes. To be safe, keep pets away from freshly painted surfaces for about 2 hours after we're done. Emerald Urethane is low-VOC and safe for occupied homes. Your pets being around during the project is no problem at all.

TIPWe just don't want paint in their fur.

Don't see your question? We're always happy to talk.

We really needed the exterior of our house painted. It had been over 15 years and the paint was fading. Paint Doctors came over and gave us an estimate that beat all the others. They did an amazing job; from prepping the house to making sure everything was finished to our satisfaction. We received so many compliments on the house.

Valery Smith

Paint Doctors did an incredible job at my house. They removed popcorn from a vaulted ceiling in a big room quickly; they draped the walls and floor with plastic and left not a trace of the wet popcorn in the room. They also had to do over 20 wall patches in the house from re-plumbing the entire house and they are EXPERTS at mud work. They paint quickly and expertly and leave the house cleaner than when they arrived.

Robert Robinson

I highly recommend Alex and Megan of Paint Doctors, LLC for your painting project. They are very responsive and personable. They were fully committed to the job and did their job quite well. I am having my 90 yr old house resided, and I asked Paint Doctors to paint the overhanging eves/soffit, paint the window trims, and the front porch before the siding installation. They spray-washed all surfaces to remove decades of grime and mold, they caulked all seams, and put on 2 coats of prime paint (Sherwin Williams). I am very pleased with the final product.

Charlotte Phillips

Meagan and Alex went above and beyond my expectations! They were so detailed on every single thing, and it truly shows in the finished work. The transformation of my home is absolutely beautiful, and their professionalism and care made the whole process stress-free. By far, they are the best from all the rest — if I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Adam Lineberry

Contacted several painters for quotes and Paint Doctors LLC gave me the most reasonable one. Megan and Alex were excellent communicators throughout the entire process. I was only going to have my trim and doors painted and cut-in, but I was so impressed by their quality of work and price that I hired them to paint the entire interior of the house as well. Their lines were razor sharp all throughout the house.

Sean Moorman

We are new to the area and were uncertain about who to hire to complete our interior painting of ceilings, cabinets and vanities in our recently purchased home. We absolutely chose the best! Alex and his crew were fast, friendly and fairly priced. They showed up on time, every time, as scheduled and they cleaned up at the end of each work day.

PRO TIPS

The Right Way vs. The Cheap Way

Every failed cabinet job we've seen comes down to one of these shortcuts. Here's what to do — and what to avoid.

DO
What makes cabinet paint last

Use cabinet-specific paint

Emerald Urethane is formulated for surfaces that get touched, wiped, and slammed daily. Wall paint isn't.

Always use bonding primer

Extreme Bonding Primer grips stained and oil-based surfaces. Without it, your topcoat has nothing to hold onto.

Remove doors for spraying

Off-site spraying in a controlled environment eliminates dust, bugs, drips, and gravity working against you.

Degrease before anything

Years of kitchen grease sit on your cabinets. TSP wash cuts through it so primer bonds to clean wood, not oil.

Allow full cure between coats

24+ hours minimum. Rushing means tacky doors, fingerprints in the finish, and surfaces that stick together.

Get a color preview first

See your cabinets in any color before committing. A color change after painting means starting over at full cost.

DON'T
Why cheap cabinet jobs fail

Don't use wall paint on cabinets

It's too soft. Kitchen cabinets take daily abuse — wall paint peels, chips, and sticks to itself within months.

Don't skip degreasing

Paint over grease and it sheets off. This is the #1 shortcut cheap painters take and the #1 reason cabinets fail.

Don't brush or roll doors

Brush marks and roller texture are permanent. Spraying is the only way to get a factory-smooth finish on doors.

Don't paint over oil with latex

Latex directly over oil-based finishes peels every time. Bonding primer is the only bridge between them.

Don't rush the dry time

Closing doors too early traps moisture and damages the finish. Patience on cure time is what makes paint last years.

Don't paint over damaged laminate

If laminate is peeling or bubbling, paint won't fix it. The surface needs to be sound before any coating goes on.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Every shortcut on this list saves a painter time and costs you money when the finish fails. We don't take shortcuts — we provide data sheets for every product and our Sherwin-Williams rep's number if you want to verify anything yourself.
